Our roots have exceeded half a century, but our gaze goes beyond the horizon
We have been winemakers for 3 generations and produce authentic and distinctive wines by cultivating only native vines.
In our cellar, we work with Tintilia, a historic Molise grape that draws its origins from this region, and the Fiano, Malvasia, Trebbiano, Moscato and Montepulciano varieties.
Ours is a story written by many hands, where everyone is the author of an engaging chapter.
We are, before many other things, a family that over the years has given life to what is now Tenute Martarosa. Ours is a story written by many hands, where everyone is the author of an engaging chapter.
The experience and passion for our work have allowed us to witness the birth of a new wine every year. But also, and above all, the ability to recognize beauty in the simplicity of things.
And we want to talk about this beauty, inviting you to taste the flavours of an authentic tradition of which we aspire to be the custodians.
Michele
Founder of Tenute Martarosa. He loves travelling and taking little-known itineraries, live music at low volumes, outdoor sports, and the chirping of crickets on warm summer evenings. With enthusiasm and a hint of stimulating imprudence, he often takes unusual actions. He usually thinks about the future while enjoying a glass of Tintilia.
Pierluigi
Founder of Tenute Martarosa. He loves making things work, ancient and precious bottles, excursions on green and snow-capped mountains, cycling at sunset, and thinking about the usefulness of what surrounds him. The meaning of things is his yardstick of judgment. He is particularly fascinated by the uniqueness of Tintilia.
Dad Pasquale
Represents the generation of fathers of other times. Quiet and constant all-round worker, little given to the frivolous, with which he does not feel at ease. He loves nature and animals, cinema, and he is the guardian of traditions and the culture of small things. For him, it is always better to repair than throw away. He often accompanies his meals with a fresh glass of Moscato.
Mom Antonietta
Inexhaustible and omnipresent, she embodies unity and sacrifice. He loves history and culture in general, loves travelling and social life, and defends the classic as the only timeless one. Sharing a bottle of Due Versure Rosso fully reflects its character.
